Our New Recruitment Intern February 2024

Hi!

My name is Eva, Eef for most people, and from February 20th and onwards I am the new intern on the Balance Recruitment team.

In July of last year, I migrated to the island for my husband’s job at the Marine Corps. We will be here for at least 2 years and during that time I will be finishing my studies in Human Resource Management & Psychology. My passions and strengths in my field all connect back to the well-being of people working for the company. Given this, I hope that at the end of my tenure here, I will have added something valuable to Balance. But more importantly, I am most certain that they will leave me with an incredible amount of knowledge and skills which I will use for the rest of my career.

In my downtime, you can find me in the gym or yoga class. Naturally, I embrace and enjoy all the beauty the island has to offer. The food, the beaches, the nature, you name it. And just like everyone else, I enjoy good films and series. For books though, I am loyal to Stephen King; I have been collecting his work for years. My husband and I also adopted a stray dog, Odin, and he’s a handful. So, a lot of our free time revolves around him.

I am excited to see what this journey will bring.
