Our newest addition to the team, David Neyndorff
Recently I started my internship at Balance Recruitment. Unexperienced, as I was with recruitment, I came into a warm and welcoming team of professionals who quickly showed me the ropes of being in the people business. With their expertise when it comes to coaching, assessments, and recruiting, I have already been able to learn beyond my set expectations, taking on consultant tasks, like screenings and intakes.
Moreover, Balance has given me the freedom to develop myself as a marketeer, giving me go-aheads on daring marketing campaigns and new projects, which, as an International Business and Management student with a specialization in Marketing, I value greatly. Even more so since my eventual deliverable to the company is a marketing communication thesis, that will undoubtably supply insight towards profit yielding implementations to be made.
To be candid with you, I somewhere always thought being in the people business was something for me, as people give me energy and being the interpersonal man that I am, joining Balance seemed like a good choice. However, I never thought it would make me this happy, seeing people’s lives turned around by the opportunities that we give them and really making a difference, especially in these troubling times. Thus, I can only say I am more than looking forward to the remaining time I have at Balance Recruitment, I hope that we speak each other soon, on the phone or in person so I can ask you: “how are you really doing?” since we are not just pushing resumes, helping people is what we do.
